Short ribs in the crockpot...

INGREDIENTS

4 pounds boneless or bone-in beef short ribs about 8 short ribs

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

3 cups beef broth

1/4 cup worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 sprig fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried

Start by combining broth and spices in the crockpot, turn on low.

Some short ribs will have a membrane on the meat side that will need to be removed, simply take a sharp knife and trim it off. Season with salt and pepper. Preheat a skillet with olive oil, get very hot, sear all 4 sides of each rib.

Transfer to crockpot and cook for 6-8 hours on low, time will depend on size of ribs. Ribs come out falling apart. Serve with potatoes, rice or pasta and your favorite veggie. I did minute rice and steamed veggies...takes less than 10 minutes.
